Community guides (e.g. the Icy Veins camping writeup) cite '600+' new profession recipes added in Forever. A Sept 17 2026 beta-client datamine tracker (wowforeverbuilds.com) instead counts 945 newly-named recipes across all professions, led by Leatherworking (283), Blacksmithing (203) and Tailoring (185). Neither source reconciles the gap; it may reflect named vs. unnamed/placeholder recipe entries in the beta client, but that is not confirmed. Re-checked 2026-09-21: the same wowforeverbuilds.com tracker page now shows 969 total recipes (up from the 945 read on Sept 17), with the leading professions' individual counts unchanged (Leatherworking 283, Blacksmithing 203, Tailoring 185) - consistent with a live tracker page being updated as the beta datamine improves, not a correction of the earlier read. Still a single uncorroborated source; the gap with Blizzard's '600+' figure is unresolved.
