Mike Nuthals (Kotaku, Sept 14 2026): 'We're excited for people to jump into new battlegrounds like the Darkspear Islands to supplement the original Vanilla battlegrounds.' Output Lag: 'the classic battlegrounds return too'. Blizzard has not named WSG/AB/AV individually or dated them; WoWSoD Pro/PewPewShop (low-reliability) name all three as returning.
